The Best AI Tools for Creators
Speaking from experience, I know creators wear many hats. It’s tiring juggling the creativity needed to actually create new content while also having to market, engage on socials, and manage the business side.
As someone who’s done this for nearly two decades for myself and for clients, you can take my word for it when I say AI is making things a lot easier.
For lots of people, creating the content is the fun part – the part where you get to be creative. The rest is just stuff you have to do to make sure people actually see that content.
With AI, so much of “the other stuff” can be streamlined, freeing up more time to create.
I’ve been a strategic business consultant for 17 years and spent the last two learning all about the ‘“new digital frontier”. I’m most interested in the ethics and overarching societal effects this tech has, but I also enjoy sharing the practical and proven AI tools I find useful in my day-to-day. Here we go:
AI Enhances Your Email Campaigns
Crafting personalized email campaigns is time consuming but with AI-driven services now being built into popular tools like Mailchimp and Hubspot, you can automate and optimize your emails for higher conversion rates.
AI Social Media Tools Schedule Smarter
AI social media tools like FeedHive analyze when your audience is most active. I love how it can recycle high performing content, and can even trigger conditional posting.
It’s much more than a scheduling tool like Hootsuite or Loomly. It really incorporates AI to make the most of the content you’ve built. It’s not the cheapest tool but you really get a lot of value out of it if you’re creating a lot of content.
Intelligent Analytics Interpretation with AI
For creators, knowing what gets the followers engaged is so important. I’m seeing analytics improve exponentially in tools like Google Analytics‘ intelligent insights and SEMrush for SEO.
Whereas it used to take me hours to put together a report, now it takes moments. Not only that, AI helps interpret the data – it’s literally a data crunching machine – helping me develop conclusions and giving me more time to dig into the report, analyze it myself, and better inform my strategy.

AI as a Catalyst for Creativity
With AI, you don’t need to feel stuck even if you feel like you’ve run out of ideas. To be clear, I am not a proponent for offloading the creative element to a computer. Rather, if you need to brainstorm, or need help coming up with a blog title, utilize AI! Here’s a prompt to try:
“I’m feeling out of ideas. Can you act as a brainstorming partner and provide 10 new content ideas I might like based on my most engaging posts this past year?
For your YouTube thumbnails and Reels covers, AI-powered design tools such as Canva and Wonder.ai can help bring your ideas to life a lot faster. There’s no need to start with a blank slate; utilize their templates and/or type in what you’re thinking and see what AI comes up with.
AI Ethics for Creators
AI isn’t about replacing the human element; it’s about giving you more time to do the important part: create. If your goal is to grow your brand without compromising your integrity, remember to use AI ethically. If you’re not sure what that means, check this out:
Small Business AI Ethics
We’ve all heard the saying about working smarter, not harder. In this case, you can work as hard as you want on what you want, while you work smarter on the things you find mundane.
